Bloggers can be nailed for views: Supreme Court of India

A 19-year-old blogger's case could forever change the ground rules of blogging. Bloggers may no longer express their uninhibited views on
everything under the sun, for the Supreme Court said they may face libel and even prosecution for the blog content.

This chilling warning emerged as a Bench comprising Chief Justice K G Balakrishnan and Justice P Sathasivam refused to protect a 19-year-old Kerala boy, who had started a community on Orkut against Shiv Sena, from protection against summons received from a Maharashtra court on a criminal case filed against him.

A computer science student, Ajith pleaded that the comments made on the blog were mere exercise of their fundamental right to freedom of expression and speech and could not be treated as an offence by police.

Unimpressed, the Bench said, "We cannot quash criminal proceedings. You are a computer student and you know how many people access internet portals. Hence, if someone files a criminal action on the basis of the content, then you will have to face the case. You have to go before the court and explain your conduct." Legally these judges are like gods who cant be qusetioned or touched.

They are qualified to interpret laws but machines can also be programmed like this, like computers.

Human are human, they are emotional, they mix various things before bieng judgemental, Bloggers can be nailed for views is talibanic decison without Human angle just decoding some Laws these judges offered FATWA...


Judges should also ban Research in Medicines as legally they test drugs on Human or stop Chandrayan as it is unneccsaary expenditure they can cite austerity....


Why these oldies want to rule over youth of India with their set of Rules which is too complex and inflexible. Inflexibility makes a society taliban.

Mai stabdh rah gaya jaise kisi ne range haatho pakad liya ho, mere nishthur paav jadvat ho gaye, mai chah kar bhi apne aap se puchh nahi saka ye kyu aur kya ho raha hai?

Mai darra sehma sochne laga kab aur kaise meri padgamini ne chapla ka roop dharan kiya aur aage badne ka apradh kiya ?? Shayad mujhe khabar hi nahi hue, naa yaad hi raha kuch, mai apne niruddheshya hone per vismit hua. Tabhi mere manas patal pe ek nanhi si aahat ne mujhe aabhas dilaya ki mujhe koi pukar raha hai. Mere to roye khade ho gaye pure badan me sihran daud gayi.

Mother and Motherland are over and above the Heavens
